Eligibility

Participant must currently be an undergraduate from a university in Singapore (Matriculated before or Matriculating AY 2022/23)

Multi-University teams can be formed too.

A team can have up to 4 members. You can opt to be partnered with others if you have a smaller group size.

Participants of any skill are welcome. This is a competition based on Innovation & Design.

This event is wholly organised by the NUS iDP Students' Club, and in no way does it directly represent NUS.

All prizes are subject to change/availability. iDP Students' Club retains the right to make any changes to the prizes as it deems fit.

All personal information will be kept confidential and be used only for this event.

Should you wish to withdraw your consent for us to contact you for the purposes stated above, please notify us in writing to idp.studentsclub@u.nus.edu. We will then remove your personal information from our database. Please allow 7 business days for your withdrawal of consent to take effect.


You would not be able to participate in this event if you do not consent to your data being collected for the above purposes.

Harassment

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or political views, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, photography or audio/video recording against reasonable consent, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.


As this is an ideathon, we like to explicitly note that the ideas created at our ideathon are equally subject to the anti-harassment policy.


Ideathon staff will be happy to help participants contact any local security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the ideathon. We value your attendance.

If you are being harassed, or notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the ideathon staff immediately.


If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the ideathon organisers may take any action they deem appropriate. This includes warning the offender, expulsion from the ideathon, or reporting their behaviour to local law enforcement.


Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Communications

Telegram will be the primary mode of communication, and email will be used as a secondary platform. Telegram will be used to give contestants additional updates.

Covid-19 Regulations

Due to Covid-19, Participants are required to wear masks at all times except when consuming food and drinks.

A picture of a negative FET test and vaccination proof is required and will be checked during registration.

Participants must be fully vaccinated in order to participate in this event.

Updates

We will do our best to ensure that all participants are informed of any changes to our rules through our Telegram channel.

Action will be taken against teams and participants who violate any rules.

Compliance

We expect participants to follow these rules throughout the ideathon.
